Why Men Love/Marry Bitches

One of those self help books for women, explaining how to keep a man’s interest. The premise is that the “nice girl” always comes across as too needy and clingy and won’t stand up for herself - she gives in to anything the man wants and structures her life around him. While the “Bitch” - isn’t a bitch in the negative sense - but a woman who shows her independence and doesn’t let a man dictate how she lives her life - she is a Babe In Total Control of Herself (get it? I know, that’s pretty cheesy, lol). 

Anyways, one of the concepts is that “Men don’t respond to words, they respond to no contact”. Meaning that instead of telling him everytime something bothers you and “nagging” him about it, it’s better to express how you feel by actions, or lack thereof. Such as cutting back your availability to him when he asks to see you, or not calling him back right away, or going away for the weekend with the girls and not calling him - basically living your own life and not making yourself available to him. 

The author even admits that most psychology today recommends for women to talk about their emotions with their men - get it all out and communicate everything. But she (author) insists that in theory that is great, but in reality all it does is push away a man whenever a woman wants to talk about feelings.
